The Animation, VFx, Gaming, Comics & Extended Reality (AVGC-XR) sector in India has emerged as a significant contributor to the growth of the M&E industry in India. According to the AVGC-XR promotion Taskforce report, India has the potential to capture 5% ($40 billion) of the global AVGC-XR market share by 2025, resulting in the creation of over 160,000 new jobs annually. Furthermore, the AVGC-XR sector offers a unique opportunity to showcase Indian culture, heritage, and folk arts to a global audience through animation, comics, and gaming content.

In this pursuit, FICCI is pleased to announce AVGC-XR Summit in Trivandrum, Kerala, scheduled for 27-28 October 2023. The summit aims to create an enabling environment for collaboration, skill development, and investment, leading to the growth of the AVGC-XR industry by facilitating discussions between important industry members, government, and policymakers to address various industry challenges and business opportunities. This Summit intends to open the door for a strong and sustainable AVGC-XR ecosystem in India by bringing together business leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders.
